Meeting Room 1, Students Union Building 1
The Students' Union's Vp Community and Welfare is organising a film competition in collaboration with the Climate Education Module team at UWE Bristol to create a fun and engaging experience where students can learn more about climate action, network and meet others as well as getting creative and winning prizes to do so!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Come along to our Climate Education Film Competition Launch event! It will be a chance to meet likeminded students who are interested in joining up in a team to create a film related to UWE Bristol's Climate Education Module.
We will talk through the Climate Education Module, how to enrol yourself and what to expect. We will also outline the film competition and how to get involved. There will be time to network and chat through your ideas afterwards.
You will have the chance to see how it is structured and what issues it addresses, as well as to debate on how these issues relate to your course. The main characteristic of the course is that it bridges concepts and practical skills and action, awarding you with a useful certificate that will help you with jumping into a sustainability-related career.
One of the Climate Actions you could choose to focus on, to finalise the course, is to enter our Lights, Camera and Climate Action! Film competition on the 5th of December. This session will explain you how and will give you information on the prize you might win and the help you can get with the filming.
More information on the film competition can be found here Lights, Camera, Climate Action!
