Join this hands-on Clothes workshop, led by Samantha Henry, you can make your own or amend clothes that you already own so they fit better to your body or gender
You can discover the art of sewing while contributing to a more sustainable future. These sessions give students the chance to create garments such as dresses, jeans, or pyjamas using recycled and repurposed materials.
This workshop provides step-by-step guidance on sewing techniques, safe machine use, and fabric care, alongside insights into the environmental impact of textile production. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to finish a project from a previous course, you’ll gain practical skills, creative confidence, and a deeper understanding of sustainable fashion.

Walk: Bower Ashton campus is a 30 min walk from the city centre. You can use the address City campus at Bower Ashton, Kennel Lodge Road, Bristol, BS3 2 JT in google maps to plan your route.

Or the M2 which has stops opposite Temple Meads, MarketGate/Phoenix Court accommodation and the centre. 15 min walk to campus from Cumberland Basin stop.
Drive: Parking is very limited and for permit holders only. Please ensure you have either an annual permit OR a pay daily permit on display in your windscreen, and only park within marked bays.
