We are running another Greenspace environmental converservation workday at Splatts Abbey Wood, a local woodland near Frenchay campus on January 31st 2026. Please sign up by 12:00 on Friday 30th January at the latest. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. This is open to all UWE students, and no experience is necessary!  

We will meet outside The Students' Union at UWE's shop at 10:00 on Saturday 31st and then walk down to the woodland together. You'll get a free veggie / vegan meal deal on the day, but please bring some snacks if you’d like and a bottle of water. Please e-mail us if you have any dietary requirements not covered by the vegan/veggie diet (thegreenteam@uwe.ac.uk).  

Make sure you wear practical clothes and footwear (wellies/walking boots or sturdy trainers), and check the weather beforehand so you can dress accordingly and be as comfortable as possible.
