Bower Ashton A Block Shared Space
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Join us for a chilled, drop-in crafternoon 🎨
We will have a variety of crafts available and we would especially love you to take part in our community craft activity which celebrates this year's LGBT+ History Month theme: Science and Innovation! This event is open to staff and students, and all are welcome, whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or are a wonderful ally!
Science theme?!
Yas! We have lots of (plastic!) test tubes 🧪 to be filled with sciencey things! We will be displaying them all together following history month. Please bring along something that comes to mind when you think of “science and innovation” or pick from our (limited!) little craft stash! You can also provide a little blurb about your choice and what it means to you!
What else can I do?
We will have mini canvases, paints, colouring in and LOTS of beads which you can use to make your own pride-themed bracelet, along with information on one of the most iconic pieces of LGBT+ History - the pride flag! 🏳️🌈
This event is hosted by the UWE LGBTQIA+ Staff Community Network
