    Greenspace Conservation Volunteering Workshop

    Saturday 7th March, 2026, 10am-3pm

    WHERE?

    Simms Hill Community Woodland, Bristol, BS16 1YL

    WHAT?

    We are hosting a conservation volunteering session at Simms Hill community woodland on March 7th, 2026. We will meet at the UWE Frenchay SU at 10am, and then walk to the Simms Hill site together. Jobs will include litter picking, bramble and ash-tree regeneration cutting, tidying up pathways and removing broken tree guards.

    A vegan lunch will be provided, but please bring snacks if you want them. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and bring a coat in case of rain.

    This opportunity is open to all UWE students, regardless of experience. Tools will also be provided.
