Outside area between D and C block.
Friends of Montpellier Skatepark is a proud member of Skateboard GB, the national governing body for skateboarding in the UK and they are coming to Bower.
You'll be welcome to use their kicker, quarterpipe, and other obstacles (under appropriate supervision and safety measures.) Upcycled Skateboards: they’ll bring a selection of used skateboards and hardware to find new homes among you.
They'll offer beginner-friendly skateboarding taster sessions and a fun “best trick” contest with prizes such as Monty’s T‑shirts and skate hardware.
As it's Womens History Month we are especially encouraging female (identifying) students to take part.
Fix Your Skateboard Workshop: they’ll host a workshop where you can repair and maintain your skateboards, using spare bolts, washers, bushings, and other parts that are in good condition and suitable for reuse.
Find out how to get involved with Friends of Monty’s for future events and volunteering opportunities.
