Back by popular demand, we’re inviting you to take a well-deserved break and spend time with some very special four-legged friends. Come along to meet and cuddle a greyhound or lurcher, and discover the incredible work DAWG does to rescue Greyhounds and Lurchers nationally. It’s the perfect chance to relax, recharge, and learn about the stories of these amazing dogs.

Travel Information 

Cycle: Glenside is easily accessible from several local cycle routes. There are showers, lockers, bike shelters and free bike tools available on campus. Walk: Glenside Campus is a 30-45 min (approx.) walk from Frenchay Campus, either via Stoke Lane or through Stoke Park Estate. Please note that these routes include steep hills. You can use the following address in Google maps to plan your walking route: The Students’ Union, Glenside campus, Blackberry Lane, Bristol, BS16 1DD  

Bus: Get First Bus 46, which stops directly outside the main entrance to Glenside Campus. Drive: Parking is available on campus for permit holders only. Please ensure you have either an annual permit OR a free ‘permission to park’ permit along with a daily parking token displayed in your windscreen, and only park within marked bays.
