Thu 26 November 2026 11:00-15:00
B Block, Room 0B018.
As part of our commitment to harm reduction, we are partnering with Bristol Drugs Project to host a number of pop-ups on Bower Ashton and Frenchay Campus giving out free testing kits and talking to students about testing substances at home. You'll also be able to get harm reduction support, advice and guidance.
You can drop into one of our sessions which will run between 11:00-15:00 on Frenchay and Bower Ashton Campuses.
The appointments will be around 30 minutes, depending on how many questions you may have! These will all be facilitated by the drop and will remain totally confidential.
At the appointment, they will ask you about your experience with taking drugs and testing them and they will show you how to use your new reagent kit and offer you advice on how to interpret the result and the risks associated. These kits will be offered for students to take home and use - please do not bring your drugs onto campus to test.
Bower Ashton, B Block, Room 0B018.
No need to sign up, you can just drop in! You may just have to wait a few minutes to be seen. Come along on the day between 11:00-15:00.
The Students’ Union at UWE welcomes all abilities/ disabilities, ages, ethnicities, and genders
into our spaces. If you have any questions, concerns or additional requirements then please
let us know so that we can make your time at this event as comfortable as possible.
