Glenside SU
Drink Rethink is a preventative approach empowering students to reflect on their drinking, allowing them to consider the risks associated with excessive drinking, and the benefits of cutting down. The intervention is delivered by fellow students who have been trained to use a nationally recognised evidence-based behaviour change tool.
Our Drink Rethink ambassadors will be in the Glenside SU Cafe space between 11:00-15:00, pop along to learn about our new wellbeing project and grab some free treats. This is a drop-by activity run by The Students' Union at UWE in collaboration with SOS-UK.
What To Expect:
Come along and have a chat with one of our student ambassadors - they will ask you to answer a few questions using AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test) which is a 10 question alcohol harm screening tool. Based on the score you get, you will get some advice on how to maintain good health as an alcohol drinker. At the end, you can help yourself to one of the selection of mocktails or other freebies we will have!
If you have any questions, would like to become a Drink Rethink Ambassador, or join our D&A Student Steering Group to shape our campaigns, gain work experience and make a difference on campus, please email SUCommunity@uwe.ac.uk
