Calling all Students' Union members - come to the 2026 Annual General Meeting to ratify the new Constitution of the SU!

Facilitated by your elected Democratic Procedure Officers (DPOs) and chaired by your Students' Union President, Mo, this is a crucial step to ratifying the new Bye Laws and Articles of Association that govern how the SU runs and represents you. Hear how students were at the heart of the consultation for the changes, how the changes will provide students with more say in what they believe in and how the Executive roles of the Union will represent students better for years to come.

There will be two separate votes that will take place:

1. Special Resolution - IT IS RESOLVED THAT, by way of special resolution, the Articles of Association attached hereto and available online named “Proposed Articles” be approved and adopted as the Articles of Association of the Company in substitution for, and to the exclusion of, the existing Articles of Association.
2. Ordinary Resolution - IT IS RESOLVED THAT, the proposed Byelaws attached to this resolution and available online named “Proposed Byelaws” should replace in their entirety the current byelaws of the Union. 

If you aren't able to attend the AGM, you can still have your say by voting by proxy on this form (please note that attendance and voting at the AGM will overwrite any previously submitted vote by that individual).
