Goalball is an extremely simple game to learn, but can take years to master. It allows you to use senses that you don't normally rely on .
Goalball is a game played by two teams who compete to score goals by throwing a ball that emits audible sound when in motion. Players, who may be blind or sighted, are blindfolded during play. Goalball is a paralympic sport for the visually impaired, but can be enjoyed by everyone.
Leading this session is experienced Goalball player Dave Butler, boasting a gold medal at the European Championships with Great Britain.
This event welcomes all, it is not exclusive to blind and partially sighted players-All players will be required to wear blindfolds.
Don’t forget you only need one stamp on the Feel Good February loyalty card to be in with the chance of winning a prize! Simply collect your loyalty card from any UWE Info Point or SU office, get a stamp at each activity you attend and then hand your card back in by 5th March!
