As part of the #GenerationVote campaign, NUS are encouraging students to register to vote in the upcoming 8 June general election. NUS will be working with SUs across the UK as part of a voter registration week of action. This will include the inaugural NUS Voter Registration Drive, a roadshow tour of universities and colleges encouraging voter registration amongst students.
On Wednesday 17 May, NUS will stopping at UWE. Bristol contains a number of tight marginal seats, where the student voice can have a real impact on swinging the result. NUS will be arriving in style: with the #GenerationVote Ice Cream Van! Students can visit us to register to vote on the spot, grab a free ice cream and tell us what the students at UWE want out of this election.
