Create your own body butter at Bower.: noon - 2pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; create your own custom body butter using natural ingredients in a fun, relaxed, and mindful environment with Wadziies Little shop.

Bristol Distinguished Address Series Honouring our communities: Celebrating Black Bristol: 6pm - 9pm; Watershed, 1 Canons Road Harbourside, Bristol BS1 5TX and Hybrid; Celebrate the people shaping Black community identity, wellbeing, culture and leadership across Bristol and the Southwest.

Sun 11th October

THE SIX TRIPLE EIGHT CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH: 5:30pm - 8:30pm; MOVE Studio Purdown View, Frenchay Campus; Join us for a special Black History Month screening of The Six Triple Eight, the remarkable true story of the only all-Black, all-female battalion to serve overseas during World War II.

Tue 13th October

Hoops Against Hate Wheelchair Basketball: 1pm - 3:45pm; Centre for Sport, Frenchay Campus; As part of Hate Crime Awareness Week, UWE Bristol is teaming up with Avon and Somerset Police for a wheelchair basketball event. There will be free food whilst stocks last and chances to win prizes.

PAINT A TOTE BAG STUDENT LIFE CRAFT EVENT: 5:30pm - 8:30pm; S Block, Room 3S501, Frenchay Campus; Express yourself and honour Black history in this hands-on, drop-in painting event!

Black History Month: NHS Blood and Transplant Pop up: 10am - 4pm; Outside of OneZone cafe/library area, Frenchay Campus; The NHS Blood drive team will be on campus and would love for you to drop by!

Black History Month Hall of Fame: noon - 2pm; D Block corridor, Frenchay Campus opposite OneZone; Mo, The Students' Union president and Thayu the BME Officer, are honouring our community by showcasing inspiring students and staff to be part of their 'Black History Hall of Fame'. Join us for the unveiling ceremony at 12.
