Make Your Own or amend your own clothes- Sustainable Sewing Workshop at Bower: noon - 3pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Learn how to make your own clothes or alter clothes that you already own so they fit your body/gender better using recycled materials!

BRISTOL LIGHTS FESTIVAL: 6pm - 9pm; Meeting point: Watershed, Canons Road, BS1 5TX; This year's LGBT+ History Month theme is Science and Innovation, and the wonderful Bristol Lights Festival is on this week, so what better opportunity to meet up for a chat and a stroll, whilst taking in the amazing art on display across the city?

LGBT+ History Month Gender Free Hair pop up at Glenside: 11am - 3pm; Glenside Students Union; For LGBT+ History Month Come to our Genderfree pop up salon, where you can get a free hair cut (If you can - donate to a LGBTQ+ Charity in exchange for the cut) We have J, The Founder of dooo– A Bristol all inclusive salon, here to cut your hair

LICHEN WALK AT FRENCHAY!: 12:30pm - 2pm; Meet outside the Student’s Union; Explore Frenchay Campus to see how many different kinds of lichen may be hiding in plain sight! This event commemorates the work of Elke McKenzie, one of Schools OUT's five Historical Figures for this year's LGBT+ History Month.

From Evolution to Activism: Representation from Nature to Bristol Pride: 6pm - 9pm; Bristol Beacon, BS1 5AR; This event will explore how representation, storytelling, technology, and activism intersect in real-world contexts, offering students insight into how values-driven work can translate into meaningful careers and creative practice beyond university.

Period Stall for LGBTQ+ Month @Bower: noon - 2pm; Students' Union, Bower Ashton Campus; A chance to pick up FREE Natracare period products and sign up for a FREE sustainable period product to trial! Take a look at some products we offer, including period boxers!

Thu 26th February

UWE STANDS AGAINST HATE: 10am - noon; Glenside library lounge; During October's Black History Month, a celebratory community art activity at Glenside library was vandalised in a racist, transphobic, and Islamophobic hate crime. Now - we're coming together to repair it!
