LGBT+ History Month is a month-long campaign that runs every year in February and every year, The Students’ Union and UWE Bristol run a packed programme of activities which link to the year-specific theme.

Events happening this month:
Gender Expression Fund 2025/2025 relaunched on the 13th November, thanks to the Trans Welfare Officer applying for extra funding from the Student Experience Fund!
Celebrate your true self!
We're excited to support trans and non-binary students - this fund provides up to £50 to spend on gender affirming items, such as makeup, bras, binders, packers, clothing and more'

18th Feb - Rainbow laces day - All Bucs fixtures on the 18th, captains to collect laces from Team Opps, tag #surainbow to share

19th Feb 12-3 - Amend your clothes sewing workshop, learn how to alter your clothes so they better fit your body or gender at Bower in the shared space.

Mindline Trans: Mindline Trans+ provides a safe place to talk about your feelings confidentially.
Off the Record: OTR is a mental health social movement by and for young people aged 11-25 living in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Outstories Bristol: Collect and preserve the social history and recollections of LGBTQ+ people living in or associated with Bristol, England
Pride without borders: Bristol Pride Without Borders is our support group for Bristol-based LGBTQ+ people seeking asylum and those with refugee status.
SARI: SARI provides free and confidential support for anyone who is a victim of hate crime. Whether that’s based on race, faith, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or sex.
Trans Pride Bristol: Small but dedicated team of trans / non-binary people, working together with the LGBTQI+ community to bring events, talks, socials and resources in Bristol.
