What is the Student Consultation Panel?
The Student Consultation Panel (SCP) is a collaboration project between the Student Voice and Academic Policy Team and The Students' Union Representation Team. The SCP is a group of students who have chosen to offer their feedback and insights to a range of university projects and initiatives, we call them 'Student Consultants'. Staff from across the University, whether academic or professional services, can submit a request for the SCP to engage with and provide feedback.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE OPPORTUNITIES?
It's easy! Once you sign up you will be added to the list of students who have joined the panel. You will receive an email from the Student Voice team with instructions on how you can get involved in an opportunity, some opportunities may be limited to certain demographics but the vast majority of opportunities will be applicable to all Student Consultants.
DO I GET PAID TO ENGAGE WITH THE PANEL?
For lots of the opportunities there is an incentive to get involved, this could be a prize draw to win some prizes, guaranteed vouchers just for taking part or just the satisfaction of providing your feedback to a vital UWE process! At the end of each term, Student Consultants who are highly engaged in the Panel will receive vouchers for them to spend on retailers. The more you engage, the higher the prize!

The Student Consultation Panel is your chance to make a difference. It’s a group of students from across the university who have volunteered to provide their feedback and insights on a variety of university projects and initiatives.

Are you looking to gain student insight for your project, idea, initiative or research? If you plan to improve the student experience then you can submit a request to get feedback from the SCP. Whether you are staff or a student, the SCP can help you get useful information from our diverse student membership.
Your opportunity can take different forms to gather student insight and feedback such as:
Ready to get started? Complete the request form with as much detail as possible to help us understand your needs. The information you provide forms the content of the opportunity sent to students, so it’s important to provide as much context as you can.
Where possible, you should compete the form with a minimum of three weeks’ notice. We review the requests on a fortnightly basis and will contact you if we need any additional information, have some suggestions, or to confirm the opportunity will be sent out.
