The Wave, Bristol, are recruiting a Camp Team Member to join us for our busy 2024 season. We have a number of permanent, fixed-term and casual roles available.

The Wave is a slice of the ocean inland, where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can experience the joy of surfing and its many physical and mental health benefits! Our Camp consists of 25 beautiful safari style tents located just meters from the Waves accommodating up to 8 guests each

As a Camp Team Member at The Wave, you will contribute to the amazing experience our guest & visitors will have when they come to stay at The Camp and use our amazing facilities.

All our Wavemakers join The Wave on the Level 1 salary relating to their age range. We encourage all Wavemakers to work their way through our Learning & Development programme to gain new skills and increase their earning potential by moving up our staff levels.

Our Campsite Team Member’s:

Carry out housekeeping tasks to keep our camp looking beautiful.

•       Consistently delivering a high standard of customer service

•       Possess an incredible attention to detail and work to The Wave standards

•       Possess a strong desire to always operate at the highest level

•       Stock takes of all areas including linen, cleaning supplies, Consumables etc 

•       Constantly meets all department KPI's

•       Confidently deliver an engaging welcome speech 

•       Complete regular tent visits - checking in, catching any issues before they happen

•       Checking the TRAIL app, ensuring daily tasks are completed and carry out spot checks 

•       Complying with legal and company health and safety standards, and ensure you are following all risk assessments (Included in Health and Safety bit)

•       Our ideal Wavemaker will have a desire to assist others, ensuring visitors leave with a smile on their face. Our Wavemakers use their initiative effectively and take a proactive approach to any challenges that arise – a can-do attitude is essential!
