We are seeking Front of House/ Reception Support for The Students' Union building on Frenchay and Glenside Campus.
We are looking for approachable individuals with customer service and/or administrative experience. The role will involve manual handling tasks, such as moving furniture and organising/ setting up spaces.
You will act as the first point of contact at The Students’ Union; dealing with deliveries, enquiries, taking phone calls and supporting open and close set-up, including, cleaning and tidying spaces as well as supporting the building during events.
Must be available to 2 weeks of training and onboarding on WC 24th August 2026 & 31st August 2026
Reception shift will start from September 2026
Casual shifts are for term time only and to support with open days/training/SU campaigns
We are ideally looking for students wanting to work around 5-15 hours per week during term time, however hours are casual and may or may not be available depending on the time of the year and footfall on campus.
When available, shifts will be available during our welcome period 2026, term-time hours and open days. These hours will reduce during the summer months/ non-term time and in line with footfall (as above).
There may also be weekend and evening work available during key times of the year.
We are looking for students who will be available to work from September 2026 and throughout the 2026/27 academic year.
We are ideally looking for students to work around 5-15 hours per week during term time and 15-25 hours during the welcome period, however hours are casual and may or may not be available depending on the time of the year and footfall on campus.
There may also be weekend and evening work work available during key times of the year.
£13.44 per hour
*Please note this hourly rate will be inflated to include holiday pay
Based at Glenside and Frenchay Campus, staff will be allocate to either location
The role will involve manual handling tasks, such as moving furniture and organising/ setting up spaces.
