Duties

• staff reception desk
• answer customer queries by phone, email and in person
• support our choirs and orchestra
• represent Centre for Music at open days and events
• create content and post on social media

Skills and Experience

Essential experience

Polite and friendly.

Punctual and reliable.

Organised and proactive

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

A willingness to learn new skills.

Desirable experience

Knowledge of audio equipment (back line, PA, drum kit, guitars).

Previous experience of one or more of the following ensembles: orchestra, classical choir, gospel, big band, jazz.

Social media experience using TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Customer service experience

Hours

Up to 16, usually between 3-9. Temporary – until April 2025
