Duties
General building and labouring support on a building renovation project. The work will be at the client’s home, working directly for the client, and will be varied in nature. Manual tasks will include, but are not limited to: digging & trenching, manual lifting, working at height, use of hand and power tools, concreting, working with lime and cement mortars. Training given.
Skills and Experience
1. Proof of entitlement to work in the UK; 2. Willingness and ability to carry out all tasks in a healthy, safe and responsible manner giving due care and attention for the welfare of themselves and other people; 3. Ability to perform general building and labouring tasks efficiently and with skill and competence; 4. Willingness and ability to complete all tasks to a high standard, and in accordance with client’s instructions; 5. Ability to use initiative and communicate promptly

Additional Information
The role is on an ‘on call’ basis and will be paid on an hourly basis with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week. Durations of work shifts to be agreed with the client. These will normally be a full day’s work, but may occasionally be for half a day. There can be flexibility in working times and days, but the bulk of hours will need to be completed between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm, and hours required per week will vary. These will be agreed with the client on an ongoing basis
