Duties

To hang out with this young man! Support with accessing the community and increasing independence e.g. eating out, visiting museums, bowling and other fun activities of the young person’s choice.  

Skills and Experience

• Ability to act in an understanding, patient, trustworthy, calm and non-judgmental manner. 
• Have a confident, calm, fun, and outgoing personality. 
• Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties. 
• Ability to support young person with maintaining expectations and boundaries. 
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them where required.

Clean UK driving license and own car if possible but not essential.

Hours

Hours available: Friday evenings, weekends and school holidays. Up to a total of 7 hours per week.

Hourly Rate

PAYE or Freelance contract available. £15.50 per hour (gross)
