I'm Jacko, a wheelchair user looking for reliable help at home for a few hours each week. This could be an hour in the morning or a couple of visits during the week; exact days and times would be agreed together.

Duties

The work can include personal care, such as dressing and shower-related help, alongside simple food and drinks, laundry and light household tasks. No lifting or nursing work is required. Clear guidance and practical onboarding are available.

Skills and Experience

Formal care experience is useful but not essential. Reliability, punctuality, practical judgement, respectful communication and comfort with personal care matter most. There is no lifting or nursing work, and I'll explain what I need. Some practical care experience is welcome, including helping a family member.

Hours

1-2-hour visits. I'd usually message or call to arrange help a day or two ahead, whenever we're both available. There are no fixed weekly rota or guaranteed number of hours.

Hourly Rate

The rate is £15 per hour.
