Not to mention any jams we host will be filled with prizes.
With Bristol having the best skate scene in the UK, there's no shortage of skate spots - Weekly Skate sessions are organised at local parks such as; Campus Park & Pool, Emmersons Green skatepark, Victoria park, Warmley forest, M32 DIY Spot, Filton skatepark and many others. As a Skate Society we will be able to make use of the Uni Mini Buses to go on skate trips further afeild such as; Rush Skatepark in stroud, Cirencester skatepark, Midsomer Norton, RampWorld Cardiff. We also have plans to organise a society trip to London before the end of this academic year.
We believe the skate societies role at UWE should be the stepping stone to help beginners get into one of the most difficult yet rewarding sports, and provide all members with a supportive and fun community.
The skate society is ran by skaters for skaters, and therefore the events, socials and skate sessions will be based on what the society would like to do, ensuring everyone's voice is heard.
Get your membership today to help the society grow! Members will be the first to receive society benefits as well as exclusive stickers.
