Hi there! We bring to you the return of Indian Society at UWE. Indian Society is all about building a safe community to make memories in. Whether you're missing home, simply curious about Indian culture or for anything else, everyone is welcome here! We hope to have fun celebrating our culture - most importantly, food, music and eventful days of traditional comfort. This isn't just a society, it is a community, a space for everyone to feel included and seen.
Our events are truly at the heart of the Indian Society. We host relaxed meet-and-greets and cosy evening chai meets, perfect for unwinding, chatting, and making new friends. Throughout the year, we celebrate major festivals like Holi and Diwali with colourful festival blasts, performances, and programmes that really bring our culture to life.
Alongside this, we organise elegant balls, lively themed parties, music and karaoke nights, and fun socials where you can come along, be yourself, and enjoy good company and great vibes. Whether you’re here for the celebrations, the music, the food, or the friendships, there’s something for everyone at our events.
