UWE Squash, run by the Students’ Union & UWE Sport, is open to all abilities - whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or aiming to compete. You can train either socially or competitively through BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) competitions.
We also offer MOVE squash sessions, which are weekly, bookable sessions designed to help you learn the sport from beginner level or refine your skills, complete with coaching from experienced instructors. These are accessible via the MOVE timetable and UWE Bristol Sport app if you have a MOVE or Active Card membership.
UWE Squash, now known as the UWE Buccaneers, are one of UWE’s most successful sports clubs. The team have won many national BUCS titles over the years and have had some of the world’s best play and study here including Mohammed and Marwan El Shorbagy.
