Covid-19 has affected how we run our events; we will continue to run things as socially distanced as possible, and for Cafe Socials and other events in public places we will require members to show up with masks. Masking up at all our events is highly encouraged!

Who are the UWE LGBT+ Team?
Our committee works without a hierarchy, all members have equal say, and everyone is encouraged to get involved. The team is hugely involved with the social aspects of the society, not just the logistics, and we’d love to get to know every member individually and take in ideas from all over the place.

How can I get involved?
We are always looking for new committee members! To talk about this, or to ask about or request a charity or event please feel free to message a member of the committee using the provided details!
We are passionate about fundraising, so if that’s something that speaks to you please don’t hesitate to get involved. In 2019 we won RAG'S Fundrasing society of the year award after raising and donating £3,564 to amazing LGBT+ charities, and while Covid-19 has put a damper on our efforts, we’re absolutely raring to raise even more in the coming year.
Who can become a member?
Anyone! So long as you are a part of UWE, you can join us and get involved. (We're all about inclusivity and equality here!)
For questions, complaints, and to request information regarding sexual health or the reporting of hate crimes, message us on Facebook or email Cecil2.McKie@live.uwe.ac.uk
