Our aim is to reinstate the UWE Business Society by bringing students together to create a welcoming environment for anyone and everyone to join.
Success isn’t just about what you learn, it’s about the connections you build and the insights you gain beyond the classroom.
At UWE Business Society, we host exclusive guest speaker events and career-focused sessions that give you direct access to professionals with real-world experience. These events provide the opportunity to ask meaningful questions, gain honest advice, and develop the kind of understanding that lectures alone can’t offer.
We are as focused on building a society that offers something for everyone as we are focused on developing professional business skills. This means that our socials will be planned and organised to the same degree as, for example, a guest speaker event. We believe that creating a community where everyone can speak and interact with others from all types of backgrounds and aspirations is the best way to learn and grow - all together.
Whilst offering events where you can learn from other people's experiences, we will also host travel events where you can experience other norms and get involved yourself with our annual trips domestically and abroad. Additionally, we are looking to run a summer ball with a privately rent venue to celebrate year's success
We are the UWE Business Society. Our goal is to create engaging, inclusive, and inspiring experiences that bring together students from all disciplines who share an interest in the world of business.
Whether you’re interested in networking, developing new skills, exploring career paths, or simply meeting like-minded people, you’ll find your place here. Together, we aim to learn, grow, and make the most of every opportunity that university life has to offer.
Joining the UWE Bristol Business Society is a great way to build connections, develop your skills, and make the most of university life. We host a variety of events throughout the year, from guest speaker sessions featuring industry professionals and recent graduates to workshops that help you enhance your business and marketing knowledge.
But it’s not all about work!! We also host a range of social events, including cocktail evenings and game nights. Every event is designed to be inclusive, engaging, and enjoyable, helping you meet new people, unwind, and feel part of a supportive community.
Whether you’re looking to grow professionally or want to make lasting memories, the Business Society has something for you :)

Our society runs thanks to the support of our members. Although we have a plan for the year, none of it will be possible without your support; hence why we will always be looking for feedback and ideas from you all and, in turn, making this a society for the people.
Matvey leads the society and oversees all activities to ensure members have the best experience possible.
Alba is our biggest support! She helps coordinate events and collaborations.
Sezen manages the society’s finances, ensuring smooth operations for all our activities.
If you have any questions, feedback, or just want to get in touch, we're here to help. Feel free to contact us via email or reach out to our dedicated committee members directly:
