Welcome to International Business Society

The International Business Society is aimed for students passionate about global business, cross-border trade, and international markets. Whilst study sessions and certain events are aimed at those studying International Business, we are open to all students at UWE as a hub for exploring opportunities beyond borders.

By joining, you can get exclusive access to lots of insightful international business events and a plethora of benefits, most important being Networking.

The Society aims to:

• Organise industry visits to multinational companies and get first hand exprience how a business operates and navigates global challenges.
• Network with international business leaders, importers/exporters, global entrepreneurs, and professionals working in international markets to learn from those succeeding in the global arena.
• Provide academic support for international business coursework, including essay workshops, exam preparation sessions, and study groups focused on global business topics.
• Bring in guest speakers from different business organisations for insightful sessions.
• Ultimately, we would love to build community through social events, cultural exchange nights, international food experiences, and trips that celebrate our diverse, globally-minded membership.
