Welcome to the UWE Chess Society! We're a new society for chess enthusiasts of all skill levels. Join us to play, learn and compete with other clubs and universities.
The 1st UWE Rapidplay will take place on Sunday 30th November, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, at the Students’ Union at UWE, Upper Engagement Space. The chess tournament will be FIDE rated and consist of six rounds, played at a time control of 15 minutes plus a 10-second increment per move. There will be two sections, Open and Under 1600, making it suitable for players of all levels.

Each section will have Amazon voucher prizes of £100, £50, and £25 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively.
