UWE Creators' Network

Welcome to the UWE Creators Network - a society dedicated to providing space for students to network, develop ideas, build their portfolios and access creative opportunities. 

From September we will offer:  

• Weekly creative coworking sessions on Bower Ashton campus - a dedicated time to work on creative projects solo or in groups, expand your portfolio and get inspiration and advice from other members.  
• A monthly newsletter (and regular social media posts) promoting various opportunities within creative industries across the city, with a section highlighting members creative achievements.   
• Monthly meetups at different venues across Bristol, to network with other members and try different activities - past events have included life drawing at Basement Beer Brewery and drinks at Kongs.  
• Events showcasing members creative works, including art fairs at least every semester and in the future, members galleries.  

Throughout this year we are also aiming to offer: 

• Internal creative projects allowing members to collaborate and build connections, as well as develop their portfolios – ideas so far include an Alumni podcast and music videos for upcoming bands.   
• Monthly creative practise workshops utilising different facilities on Bower Campus, allowing members to try new activities and further develop skills.  

We welcome students of all degree courses and levels of experience - you don’t have to be doing a ‘creative’ course to join us.  

Our society is all about collaboration, so if you have ideas for events and activities, or want to get involved with the committee, get in touch!
