Established in 2021, UWE K-Pop Dance is a passionate community of K-Pop enthusiasts who have come together to share our love for music, dance, and culture.
WIthin our society we host weekly dance classes, perform regularly and participate in competitions. Weekly classes will be held every Friday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, at the SU Activity Studio on Frenchay Campus. These classes will consist of choruses from a variety of K-Pop groups, both new and old. No need to worry if dancing isn't your strong suit, we host plenty of social events too! There will be 2 socials per month, consisiting of game nights, random dances, meals out and more.
We also have Performance, Cover and Competition opportunities.
Our team regularly performs at popular K-Pop and Asian club nights around Bristol, UWE events, as well as at the West of England's largest Chinese New Year celebration, hosted by WaiYeeHong.
At the end of the year, we host our very own showcase, where our team perform all the songs we've worked on throughout the year.
Auditions to join our Performance and Competition teams will be open later this year, with more details to be announced soon!
Our society isn't just about learning new dances, but also making lifelong friends, connecting with people who share your passions, and developing skills you never knew you had. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, you'll find a welcoming space here to grow, learn, and showcase your talents.

26th September - VSTOL Foam Party in Pryzm + Performance
27th September - First Social, Games night and get to know each other.
3rd September - K-Pop Party in SWX + Performance
4th September - First Taster Session, Song TBA
11th September - Second Taster Session, Song TBA
Taster sessions will be free, no membership required!
