UWE Neurodiversity Society
WHO ARE WE
Here at the Neurodiversity Society, we are an inclusive place for those who are considered neurodivergent. That means anyone who has Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia, along with other lifelong neurological differences. It is a place where neurodivergent people can connect and feel understood. We are different, yet unique, with diverse strengths and difficulties.
An aspect that makes this society more unique is that we are not shaped solely by our committee, but by the members who support the society. It is a construct that carries on developing through innovative ideas and challenges to be solved. A place where members can support each other and socialize about the most bizarre topics, as we do.
WHAT DOES OUR SOCIETY DO
We plan to have weekly socials which is a fantastic opportunity to meet a diverse range of people. We also plan to have guest speakers in the future to talk about neurodiversity. There will also be opportunities to raise awareness and fundraise for different neurological differences. If you have ideas and or want to help with these, Get in touch.
