UWE First Aid Society ('UWEFAS') runs first aid awareness sessions where you can learn how to help yourself and others, and even save lives. For example: bandaging wounds, treating intoxication, and administering basic life support. You'll learn to help someone in need with confidence, so you can play a vital role when it matters most. Whether that's in your uni halls, back at home, at a sports game, or anywhere someone may be in need.
Our sessions are delivered by student training officers with real experience delivering first aid, in a relaxed environment that will make you want to get stuck in! We will also make sure you have lots of opportunities to practice your first aid skills with experienced first aiders, as well as first-timers.
So join us if you care about helping others, want to combine knowledge with practical skills, and want to be part of an inclusive, welcoming and passionate first aid community.
We are based at Frenchay Campus - Room TBC
Regular First Aid Awareness Sessions - Every other Thursday between 19:00 - 20:00.
