💭 What is the society about? We’re a student-led Social Work society at UWE Bristol, creating a supportive space for Social Work students to connect, learn, and enjoy uni life together.
💭 Who can join? This society is exclusively for Social Work students at UWE, across all years of the course.
💭 What kind of activities do you run? 🤎 Academic support – Group study sessions, assignment workshops, peer advice. 🤎 Socials – Coffee catch-ups, nights out, games nights, and end-of-term parties. 🤎 Trips & experiences – Visiting care settings, observing court hearings, volunteering projects, and residential trips.
💭 Do I have to commit loads of time? Not at all, you can dip in and out. Events run fortnightly, and you choose what works for you.
💭 How much does it cost to join? Memberships are £2.
💭 Can members choose what we do? Yes! We’re member-led. Each term we’ll vote on ideas for socials, study sessions, or trips so the society reflects what our members want.

⭐ Participation & Equality Officer – Deanna Griffiths Ensuring our society is inclusive and accessible, celebrating diversity and making sure every voice is heard.
⭐ Sustainability Officer – Kiera Fereday Promoting eco-friendly choices and keeping sustainability at the centre of our events and activities.
⭐ Media & Publicity Officer – Aaliyah Rasheed Running our socials, keeping members updated, and making sure everyone knows what’s happening in the society.
