UWE INVESTMENT SOCIETY 

The UWE Investment Society is a student led academic society, molded around supporting fellow students gain experience and insight into the world of finance. 

The 2025 committee:

• Media, DEI & Events Officer: Daria Ivan

We aim to meet once a week although it is subject to change depending on exam seasons, however all events will be planned and communcated to the society with a minimum of 1 week advance. All communcation and events is posted into our Whatsapp group, which you will be added to if you purchase a membership! 

About us: 

We as a society will host a wide scope of events such as;

• Specalised Bloomberg sessions led by field experts which can be tailored by the society members.
• Hosting a trading competition in which teams will manage a virtual portfolio and compete for the best return!
• Debate sessions and stock pitches to give members experience with presenations and research.
• Attending networking events as a society, including transport and having the oppourtunity to network across different universities and experts across the industry.
• Host revision/ coursework sessions. 
• And many many more!
