UWE Welsh Society is a place to meet people, get involved in socials and celebrate a bit of Cymru while you're at uni. We're open to everyone, whether you're Welsh, have Welsh family, are learning the language, or just fancy coming along. No prior knowledge required, just turn up.
Throughout the year we run a mix of socials, pub nights, cultural events, trips, charity fundraisers and sport watch parties. We also celebrate occasions like St David's Day and look for opportunities to share Welsh culture with the wider UWE community.
University is about meeting people as much as it is studying. Whether you're looking to make friends, stay connected to home, or simply try something different, Welsh Society is a relaxed and welcoming community with something for everyone.
