We are a student led campaign seeking to support UWE students when faced with sexual violence, domestic violence and hate crimes of any form. We hope to change social norms which help perpetrate myths, stereotypes and victim blaming around violence. We want to make sure EVERY student feels safe, supported and empowered. #UWEenditnow

Challenge abuse. Get support. Feel safe.

The Students’ Union at UWE’s End It Now Campaign tackles all forms of abuse and harassment at UWE.

We are focusing on sexual violence, domestic abuse and hate crime. Through challenging abuse, getting the right support in place – we aim to ensure every student feels safe at UWE. The campaign was launched in November 2014 as the Anti-Abuse Campaign, by the previous VP Community and Welfare, Scarlett Oliver, tackling sexual abuse and violence. Over 40 student volunteers took action collecting over 800 pledges helping raise awareness. The Students’ Union and University achieved White Ribbon Status for their efforts.
