KCSOC is a spiritual community of open-minded and deep thinking young people.

For us, spirituality is about sharing. We all have our own ideas, philosophies and questions, and KCSOC acts as the perfect host for deep discussions and mindful questions.

Every Tuesday, from 6:30pm until 10:30pm, we meet in the Multifaith Chaplaincy on 1 Woodland Road (BS81AU). Initially we'll have some tea and just get to know others, then from 7pm we will have an interactive presentation given by a monk from London. His presentations will link the ancient teachings of Krishna Consciousness (that are over 5000 years old) to modern life and the day-to-day problems we face. The magical part is when we share and connect, often through games and fun challenges, and see our trickiest questions answered through ancient-spiritual texts.

We'll round off the evening with mindfulness meditation followed by mantra meditation, and then a meal of vegan and vegetarian food homecooked by students.

Every event is free and themes to expect are: What Would You Do If You Had 24 Hours To Live?; Who Am I Under The Skin; Have You Ever Googled Happiness?; and KARMA: Action meets Reaction.

All events are free and purely student run, so please sign up for membership and join our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/bristolkcsoc/
