The Children's Nursing Society champions causes related to children's health and the nursing profession by raising awareness and encouraging student participation.

By having regular social events the society encourages members to build relationships with their peers, helping children's nursing students to feel supported. We have regular guest speakers, skills workshops, additional lectures and encourage sharing of experiences and knowledge to build confidence in our practice.

We tackle issues affecting children's nursing today and arrange opportunities to be involved in national events building a sense of unity not only within the subject group but also the profession. We currently support Papyrus, a young suicide prevention charity.  We will be taking part in charity and fundraising events to raise money for this great cause which is close to our hearts as children's nurses.
