Debating

Welcome to the UWE Debating Society

We try to host a formal debate once per week. The time we meet is spent discussing current affairs or any topics that members would like to talk about as well as planning and choosing debates for the upcoming weeks. Our debates are normally chaired by a committee member and enable students, faculty staff and outside experts to come together to debate an issue relevant to members interests, students' courses, worldwide events, ethical/moral dilemmas and current affairs.
