UWE Hindu Society will aim to provide a home away from home! We are open to all students from any background who wants o experience a slice of Hindu culture and traditions. We hold prayers every week on Tuesdays in the Octagon where we also aim to promote Hinduism in fun and student friendly ways. We Hope to spread the word of our Hindu dharma though quizzes, debates, social events and much more. Throughout the year we will also be working alongside other universities to help organise events such as Navartri, Diwali and Holi. We are also part of the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF), and we will be attending events such as the National sports day and the Shiv Dhun, where over 50 universities join and celebrate being Hindu students.
