Sports clubs and societies constitutions outline the rules and responsibilities for student led groups. Here’s a quick summary:
Committee Members: Each club or society has elected committee members who must sign the constitution to confirm their commitment to following the rules.
Elections: Members vote for committee positions online, ensuring fair leadership selection.
Responsibilities: Committee members must complete training, submit budgets, conduct risk assessments, and attend development meetings.
Membership Requirements: To hold a position, students must be registered at UWE, be in good standing with the Union, and pay the necessary membership fees.
Agreement Confirmation: Committee members must formally agree to uphold the constitution and code of practice.
