Glenside Campus, Students' Union
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Come along on to the Students Union at UWE, Glenside for a free Fairtrade hot drink. All you need to do is Bring Your Own Cup.
Choose from coffee, tea and decaf tea. You can also add oat milk, cow milk and sugar. All free of charge to support Cost of living crisis.
The Fairtrade Foundation works with farmers and workers to ensure that everyone gets a fair deal. This enables them to improve their living standards, invest in their communities and businesses, and protect our shared environment.
This comes from our ongoing provisions with our cost of living support for our student community. If you need more support visit our website https://www.thestudentsunion.co.uk/getinvolved/campaigns/costoflivingsupport/.
To support our sustainability commitments please bring your own reusable travel mug. There will be no single-use cups provided.
This event is part of Fairtrade Fortnight, our annual festival where the SU and UWE Bristol raise awareness of how Fairtrade connects us with people across the globe and how it provides us with a simple way to show solidarity, to be a global citizen and to address climate justice issues. It will take place from February 17th to March 2nd, 2025. You can find out more information here: https://www.thestudentsunion.co.uk/getinvolved/thegreenteam/getinvolved/fairtradefortnight/
