We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our Baby Room here on Frenchay Campus at Halley Nursery on a full time (37 hours per week) Monday-Friday basis. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for an entry level role into childcare, as part of this role we can support you attaining NVQ2 in Childcare. Individuals with relevant experience working with children, in nursery environments and/or experience monitoring and recording children’s development also welcome to apply.
Nursery Assistant in the baby room
Halley Nursery is situated on Frenchay Campus and provides high quality childcare and education for the children of students, university employees and the local community.
Halley nursery opened its doors in September 2007 at Frenchay campus, and provides childcare for 62 children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Halley Nursery has three rooms, the Baby Room, Toddler Room and the Pre-School Room, We are currently looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our Baby Room on a full-time (37 hours per week) basis working Monday-Friday.

This is an entry level role into childcare and as part of this role we can support you attaining NVQ2 in Childcare or equivalent. Individuals with relevant experience working with children, in nursery environments and/or experience monitoring and recording children’s development and progression also welcome to apply.

Rate of Pay: £25,867
Hours per Week: 37 Hours per week, Monday-Friday
*Please note that in line with the working time regulations, no current student applications will be considered for this position due to it being a full time, 37 hour per week position.
Holiday Entitlement: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days!
Duration: Permanent
Location: Halley Nursery, Frenchay Campus, Bristol.
