We are seeking a part-time Building Assistant to work 30 hours per week. The Buildings Assistant will assist the Buildings Manager in the day to day maintenance of the Students’ Union with specific responsibilities for the upkeep of the Students’ Union area, equipment and general maintenance including vehicle and building maintenance.

The Buildings Assistant will assist the Buildings Manager in the day to day maintenance of the Students’ Union with specific responsibilities for the upkeep of the Students’ Union area, equipment and general maintenance including vehicle and building maintenance. This role will interact and support with all areas of the organisation completing logistical, operational and event support.

Rate of Pay: £20,052
*This salary is pro rata based on working 30 hours per week, this is based on a full time (37 hour per week) salary of £24,730
Grade: 3.1
Holiday Entitlement: 27 days annual leave as well as Bank Holidays and Closure Days (pro rata).
Hours per Week:
Flexible working pattern, ideally available Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00), patterns can be discussed
Working 30 hours per week
*Please note that due to the working time regulation, this position is NOT suitable for anyone currently studying.
Duration of Role: Permanent
Location: The post holder will be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments (Frenchay, Bower and Glenside)
