Call for Returning Officer: Lead the UWE Student Elections! 

The Students' Union at UWE is seeking an experienced professional to act as Returning Officer for our 2027 and 2028 Student Elections, including By-Elections should they be required.

This is a vital opportunity to support a fair, inclusive, and transparent democratic process for one of the largest student memberships in the UK.

Are you an individual or organisation with expertise in student union elections, democratic governance, or the higher education/charity sector? We’d love to hear from you!

The role will focus on:

✅ Ensuring good conduct and administration of the elections
✅ Supporting inclusive engagement across our diverse student body
✅ Upholding fairness, transparency, and strategic alignment with our values
✅ Collaborating with our Elections Team and Deputy Returning Officer
