Purpose of the Post:
To be responsible for providing support for the provision, development & monitoring of student involvement in Students’ Union activities. To coordinate the delivery of the sports club & the British Universities & College Sport [BUCS] programme. To ensure the development of student activities, specifically sport, volunteer recruitment & the Varsity Series. To manage and support the Opportunities Department assistants to facilitate and provide administrative support to the Opportunities Team.

Supervision and Work Planning:
The post holder will receive regular supervision from the Opportunities manager, however will be expected to work on his/her own initiative for routine tasks. Given the nature of the post, occasional weekend and evening work will be required to achieve the desired outcomes.

Rate of Pay: £26,114
Grade: 5.1
Hours per Week: 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days.

Holiday: 27 Days + Closure Days & Bank Holidays ‘pro rata’
Location: Based at Frenchay Campus- Bristol
The postholder may be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments (Bower Ashton Campus, Glenside Campus etc)
