Commercial Services Assistant (Term Time)

We are looking for a Commercial Services Assistant (Term Time) to assist in the day-to-day operation of The Students’ Union’s Commercial Services outlets on a full time 37 hours per week basis working over 34 weeks of the year, in line with University term dates.
On this occasion we are particularly interested in candidates with a catering background or interest.
Commercial Services is made up of shops, bars, kitchens and a bakery. We operate with a permanent staff team and have a large base of casual student staff across the three UWE Bristol campus sites.
Commercial Services Assistant will work across all commercial outlets across all campus sites in line with organisational requirement. Our customers include the UWE Bristol student population, teachers/ professors, university support staff, SU staff, and a range of external contractors such as builders and maintenance teams.

Additional Information
Grade: 2.1
Rate of Pay: £25,867
*Please note that this salary will be pro rata for the hours worked
*Pro rata salary can be provided on request or during the interviews
Hours per Week: 37 hours per week
*Please note that in line with the working time regulations, no current student applications will be considered for this position due to it being a full time, 37 hour per week position.
The position requires that the individual will work irregular hours involving late night and weekend working (includes early and late shifts)
Holiday Benefits: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days (pro rata)
Duration: Term-Time permanent position contract working 34 weeks per year, 37 hours per week
Salary will be pro rata to Term-Time contract
Location: The post holder will be required to work at, or from, any of the Union’s establishments (Frenchay or Bower Ashton)
