We are looking for a Commercial Services Catering Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day catering operation on a full time, fixed term, 37 hours per week, basis.
Commercial Services is made up of shops, bars, kitchens and a bakery. We operate with a permanent staff team and have a large base of casual student staff across the three UWE Bristol campus sites.
Our customers include the UWE Bristol student population, teachers/ professors, university support staff, SU staff, and a range of external contractors such as builders and maintenance teams.

The Commercial Services Catering Supervisor will assist the Kitchen Manager in the provision of an efficient and effective catering service, deputising for the Kitchen Manager in their absence.

Additional Information:
Duration: Fixed Term, 1st August 2024- End of May 2025
Potential for the position to become permanent following the fixed term period in line with organisational requirement and business need
Salary: £26,196
*Based on working 37 hours per week, all year round, will be pro rata based on the 9 month contract
Grade: 4.1
Hours per Week: 37 hours per week
The position requires that the incumbent will work irregular hours involving late night and weekend working (includes early and late shifts)
Holiday Benefits: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days (Pro rata)
Location: Frenchay Campus, but the post holder will be required to work at, or from, any of the Union’s establishments (Bower Ashton, Glenside)
