Community Projects Coordinator (Welfare) - Fixed Term 22 Months

The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of wellbeing campaigns and events, working closely with our Vice President Community and Welfare and the wider team to create a sense of belonging at UWE Bristol. You’ll help coordinate student-led and staff-supported activity that enhances welfare on campus—everything from welcoming new students in September, to running awareness weeks and well-being events across the year. This role will be pivotal in delivering projects that reflect our commitment to driving an inclusive campus culture at UWE Bristol.

Additional Information:
Location: Based at Frenchay Campus- Bristol
The postholder will be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments (Bower Ashton Campus, Glenside Campus etc) and be willing to travel within Bristol and the surrounding area.
Duration: 22 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours Per Week: 37 Hours per week
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be able and willing to work outside standard office hours as and when required, including semi-frequent evening work and occasional weekend work for events/ activity
Salary: £24,730 (Salary as of the 1st August 2025)
Grade: 3.1
Holiday Benefits: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays & Closure Days (pro rata)
